OMÜ Industrial Engineering Department External Stakeholder Meeting Held
Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMÜ) Industrial Engineering Department held its external stakeholder meeting online on February 24, 2026, as part of the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year.
The meeting addressed various topics aimed at improving the education and training processes, primarily focusing on the department's educational objectives, course content, and industry-university collaboration. The goal was to further strengthen the department's academic structure in line with sector needs through the views, suggestions, and evaluations of external stakeholders.
The meeting was moderated by the Head of Department, Prof. Dr. Birol ELEVLİ, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naci MURAT. In addition to department academics, external stakeholders from various sectors also participated. These included Ümit Ali Özkazanç, Kerem Tüfekçi, Yağmur Yılan, Eda Beylihan, and Gülsüm Sıla Erguvan.
The Department of Industrial Engineering at Ondokuz Mayıs University continues its efforts to increase the currency and alignment of its educational programs with the industry, through an approach that prioritizes external stakeholder participation. This meeting is expected to contribute to strengthening cooperation between the department and the industry and to improving the professional competencies of students.
